Dads treatment plan
On Monday or Tuesday we will meet with the research team and they will be able to explain things in more detail. The medicine is only available here because its still in research stages, so dad would not be able to go any where while he's on it.
As far as his leg goes he seems to be doing great! Can walk short spans without his walker and doesn't seem to be in much pain from it.

A little rock climbing in st. George
Caleb saw the "red mountains" and wanted to go see them so bad! So we found a trail that went along some mountains and he got to some serious exploring! Jeremiah got to collect some red rocks for his collection too. I love St. George!

How to eat a peanut butter sandwich
Take the bread apart. Eat the jam by licking it off the peanut butter. Eat the peanut butter by scooping your finger through it, and then licking your finger til the peanut butter is all gone. Then put the bread back together and act as if nothing has happened!

Jeremiah's science fair project
He also did a science fair project on magnets and got a participation award. He had a lot of fun working on his science project!
Jeremiah at the art contest awards
He took first place for the photography category in the K-2nd grade division. I think there were only a total of 2 projects in that category/division.

Mamma's boys!
I turned on some music so the boys could run around and get out their energy. They had some good dancing, and a few good wrestling matches. Then caleb got a little too excited and bit jeremiah pretty good. So every thing came to a screeching hault! Literally, screeching! Then they were both ready to sit and be quite for a bit. They both wanted to sit on me! So here's the picture of them both sitting on me!
There's also a picture of jeremiahs bite- it hut pretty bad, poor kido!

Graph of dads cancer levels
the solid line is dads cancer level. The left side of the graph is where he was before any chemo. The dash lines at the bottum of the graph are what zanghari said are normal levels. So dads cancer has come way down, but started to go back up already.
Dad will be admitted tomorrow, the 19th at around 11. He will get chemo for 4 days, then 24 hours after that they will start the stem cell transplant. This time in the hospital will be 3-4 weeks again. Keep the pictures and stories coming!

Vic, Jan, Kali, Natalie, and last but not least, Andrew - thanks so much from the bottom of our hearts for the 12 days of Christmas gifts. We loved them all. You are all special and I certainly hope you are all getting well from all the illness going around.
We are now in our apartment until the middle of February at least. Would love to have you all visit. Cliff's schedule is - Jan 11 - testing, Jan 18 - meet with Dr. Zanghari - Jan 20 - inpatient in hospital for 2-3 weeks for second round of chemo, then transplant. Hopefully he won't be too ill. Dr. Zanghari's nurse said this second round of chemo should be easier than the first which I don't understand because it is a lot heavier dose than the first round. Don't know how the transplant will work but it should be good because they are HIS stem cells and not someone else's.
Cliff was bumbed out because he will be in the hospital on his birthday - Feb 4. Maybe I'll have the nurses decorate his room with train pictures and balloons or something. When we left the hospital the first time Cliff was pretty depressed - as I'm sure I would be too, but I don't know how I would feel having my birthday there. He will be 71 years old.
Our love to you all
